Q 1. How can I become a certified yoga teacher or instructor?
To become a certified yoga teacher, you must successfully complete a yoga teacher training course and demonstrate your ability to teach a yoga class. You can check the minimum requirements for yoga teachers at: www.yogaalliance.org. This website also lists registered yoga schools and training programs that meet their certification standards.
Q 2. How many students are there in the YTT classes/courses?
We accept 15 to 20 students in each Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) course.
Q 3. What is dress code for the yoga class?
White-colored clothing is recommended.
Try to avoid black-colored clothing.
Modest and comfortable dressing is highly recommended.
Q 4. Do I need to bring my own yoga mat?
No, a yoga mat is provided to all students along with course materials.
Q 5. I'm pregnant can I attend to the course?
No, the course is quite intense and not suitable for pregnant women.
Q 6. If want to skip class am I able to do that?
In case of an emergency, you may skip a class, but you must inform the teacher in advance.
Q 8. Can I attend to the same course with my partner?
Yes, you can attend the Yoga Teacher Training Course (TTC) with your partner.
Q 9. I have only practiced yoga a few times. Will the course be too advanced for me?
No, our YTTC is designed for all levels, including beginners. We are committed to teaching yoga from its very roots, covering all aspects in a structured and progressive way.
Q 10. Are the teachers well-qualified?
Yes, all our teachers are highly qualified Yogis. Some hold Ph.D. degrees in Yoga Science, while others have Master’s degrees (MA) in Yoga.
Q 11. Will language be a barrier as English is not my first language?
No, students come from different parts of the world, and for most, English is a second language. Our courses are designed to be easily understandable, and teachers will assist you throughout your learning journey.
Q 12. Do I need to read any books?
Yes, there are a few books you will be required to read during your course. You may start reading before your arrival or once you reach the school.
Q 13. Arrival & Departure Details
To attend the orientation program, you should arrive at least a day before the course starts.
On the first day, the course begins at 11:00 AM with a yoga ritual.
The graduation ceremony takes place on the last day at 8:00 PM.
Plan your departure for the day after the course ends.
