Ashtanga Yoga
Ashtanga Yoga, developed by K. Pattabhi Jois, is a dynamic style of yoga that enhances flexibility, strength, stress management, and inner calmness.
Rooted in the eight limbs of yoga as outlined in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Ashtanga Yoga incorporates postures, concentration, meditation, and ethical principles to create a holistic practice.
The practice begins with five repetitions of Surya Namaskar A and B, followed by a structured standing sequence. The powerful and rhythmic movements in Ashtanga Yoga not only build physical endurance but also promote the purification of the mind and body, fostering deep focus and self-growth.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Vinyasa, a Sanskrit word meaning “variations within prescribed parameters,” is a dynamic yoga style that emphasizes movement synchronized with breath. This practice helps create a deeper connection between our daily actions and our journey toward mindfulness and self-awareness.
Often referred to as Flow Yoga, Vinyasa consists of a sequence of postures that vary from class to class, ensuring a fresh and adaptable experience every time. The practice follows a rhythmic, fast-paced flow, seamlessly linking breath with movement.
By preventing repetitive strain and promoting balanced strength and flexibility, Vinyasa Yoga enhances physical well-being while fostering mental clarity and inner harmony.
